Amboseli National Park has unrivalled views of Mount Kilimanjaro. An endless water supply filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro’s icecap, emerges in springs at the heart of the park, attracting large herds of game. The park is renowned for its elephants, often seen in huge numbers drinking from the surface springs, whilst buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, impala and warthog can be seen roaming the grasslands. Carnivores include lion, leopard, caracal, cheetah and hyena and birdlife is abundant.
